About The Role
We are searching for an experienced and self-driven Operations Manager/Head of Operations who will report directly to our CEO. As the Operations Manager/Head of Operations, you will work to manage and optimize the general operations of Kaon. This is a highly visible role and will partner closely with executive leadership and teams such as Business Development, People Operations, Marketing, Ecosystem, Legal, and several more.
What you’ll be doing
- Operational Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize operational efficiency and scalability within our company
- Resource Management: Manage resources effectively, including infrastructure, network resources, and human capital, to support the growth and stability of our platform.
- Collaborate closely with the Business Development and Marketing teams to optimize marketing strategies and enhance brand awareness, ensuring maximum value extraction from partnerships/deals once they’re closed.
- Work with Kaon’ Head of Product to ensure operational support and alignment of initiatives that enhance partnerships, community/developer engagement, and ecosystem growth, fostering a synergistic relationship between operational efficiency and ecosystem development.
- Liaise with the People Operations Manager to align operational initiatives with HR strategies, ensuring seamless integration of HR policies and procedures into daily operations and fostering a supportive and productive work environment.
- Liaise with our recruiting team to streamline recruitment operations, refine processes, and implement best practices to reduce time-to-fill roles, ensure alignment with compensation benchmarks, and attract top talent effectively, optimizing the company's human capital acquisition strategy
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within our operational processes and implement robust risk management strategies to mitigate them.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of operations professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture while providing guidance and support as needed.
Role Requirements:
- Operational Expertise: Strong background in operations management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in optimizing operational processes and resource management.
- Industry Experience: At least 5 years of operational experience within crypto/web3, FinTech, or other technology verticals
- Cross functional: strong track record of interfacing with key stakeholders from departments such as Business Development/Partnerships, Marketing, People Ops., Ecosystem, etc.
- Strong EQ, with fine-tuned instincts and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrates sound, consistent, and trusted judgment
